THE VIBE & VIEWS Located near the top of a hill perched high above central Fairfax, this 10' x 30' solar-heated saltwater pool has mesmerizing views of Mt. Tam, the surrounding canyons, with SF Bay, Berkeley, and Mt. Diablo in the distance. The pool area offers a perfect mix of sunny and tree-shaded areas throughout the day, so you can take your pick. Sitting on the edge of the forest and open space, it’s the perfect place to relax to the sights and sounds of birds among the trees and flowers. LOCATION & HISTORY The town of Fairfax has a reputation as a warm-weather retreat for fun and recreation. The pool is about a 5-10 minute drive (1 mile) up a typical Marin winding hillside road from downtown. I'm sure you will find the atmosphere at the top is worth it! (Fun fact: A scenic funicular railway actually went up this hill from 1913-1929!) MAKE A DAY OF IT There is plenty to do in the neighborhood while you are here: • Explore: County open space hiking and mountain biking at Camp Tamarancho are just out back. • Sip: Santori Winery is right across the street! (You can book wine tastings directly under my "Amenities" section). ACCESSIBILITY & PROPERTY ACCESS NOTE To ensure my pool is the right fit for your group, please note that access to the pool area requires walking up a natural dirt path about 20 yards long. Additionally, the restroom is located down roughly 2 flights of outdoor stairs. Because of this, the property is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and may be challenging for guests with mobility issues.
