Urban swim retreat

The pool and back yard have almost complete privacy from passersby, just over a mile from downtown Durham on the edge of Forest Hills neighborhood. The pool is over 50 years old, a concrete Esther Williams throwback, with a three-foot ledge around the entire interior perimeter, 8 feet deep at the center of the deep end. Lots of trees, flowers, and native plants surround it. The neighborhood is quiet and calm and most of the people through the pool in recent years have been close friends. My primary concern is the safety of everyone; I will glance out occasionally to make sure everything is safe and fun. Please note: bathroom available inside house for not-dripping guests who text before entering. Please do not use the skimmer nets or the floats that are already here.
