About the pool

Welcome to Savannah Park Motor Inn - home to Australia's Iconic Guitar Shaped Pool! The colourful Australian flag guitar shaped pool was opened by Slim Dusty in 1983 at the then "Musicland Motel". We are excited to now open our pool to booked for day visits by non-hotel guests! Please keep in mind that hotel guest may also be using the pool during your swim. We are situated on 15 acres of lawns and gardens, and conveniently located on the southern edge of Tamworth, with only a short drive the Tamworth’s CBD.
