About the pool

We've spent the last five years turning our backyard into a tropical paradise. Filled with palm trees, banana plants, bamboo, and a host of other tropical and native plants, you'll forget that you're in Washington during your stay. Why spend $10,000 on a trip to Hawaii when you can bring the whole family to a tropical utopia in Sumner? We are close to the Sumner Sounder station and an occasional train rolls through. What makes it special

Heated Pool

Pool is not heated between Sept and May without this amenity. I will heat the pool to your preferred temperature up to 96F. Requires 3 days advanced notice to get the pool up to temperature.

Hot Tub

R7 Bullfrog hot tub fits 4 adults comfortably or 7 adults uncomfortably. 101-102 degrees.

Take a banana plant

Go home with your own banana plant. I'll dig one up from my yard and you can take it home (under 3 feet tall). These are musa basjoo banana plants and are ornamental only. They do grow bananas but the bananas are filled with seeds and not easy to eat.

Piña Coladas

What's the tropics without piña colada? You’ll get 72oz virgin piña colada. I'll add any alcohol you want to provide.

What's better than piña colada? How about twice as much piña colada? 144 oz virgin piña colada. I will add any alcohol you bring that you would like added.
